This was an experiment with a hidden clasp design, available now in my online store. I’m sure it’s been done before, but I got this idea as I was falling asleep. That’s my best time to think!
The month of June is half over!
This is a necklace based on a drawing I made when I was 6. I called it ‘World of Monsters’

Based on the parable of the sower: Mark 4:3“Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”
I’m not sure what to call this one. Zebra agate perhaps? It’s a hair clip and also an experiment with a cane. I met the talented ladies of the Tucson polymer clay guild yesterday and learned how to make some simple canes.
