Clay Jewelry
These pins are made with a rather remarkable clay that has become my new favorite. It's flexible, waterproof, air dries, and is fairly durable. The clay takes on the look and feel of plastic after it dries, allowing for thin, delicate designs. Here's some information regarding care and maintenance of my pins: Every attempt is made to securely adhere all leaves, petals, etc, but on occasion, they can detach with wear. Mod Podge glue works well when reattaching pieces. The surface of this material is fairly waterproof, but if it gets wet for an extended amount of time, the clay could become soft or come apart. The pieces are flexible, and may take on a different shape if not stored on a flat surface. A moist cloth can be used to clean any dirt that may accumulate with wear, especially on lighter colors.
